Animal Protection

Appropriate animal welfare is a process of awareness among people and authorities. People often only begin to react sensitively when they see concrete examples of animal cruelty or animal welfare violations or read about them in the media. Especially if these are still related to the type of animal husbandry or human health, such as the use of medication, poor meat quality or likewise.

But it is the animal owners who have to live animal welfare, in private as well as in industrial animal husbandry.
Ultimately, one cannot enact the protection of animals. The conscious person is half the success and the other half is the consistent control of compliance with animal welfare laws.

3 factors are decisive for this: 1. Information, 2. Awareness and 3. Advice and support for animal owners.

The TAO Foundation supports organizations that serve these goals.
