Radu Termure – Lifesaver for stray dogs in Romania

Mr. Radu Termure is an extraordinary animal rights activist from Transylvania who has dedicated his life to protecting stray dogs and cats. Once a successful businessman, he has been fighting against animal suffering for years, rescuing animals from being put down, running shelters, and organizing adoptions—always driven by love, patience, and tireless dedication.

The situation was particularly critical in 2025: high rent arrears threatened to cause him to lose the shelters where the animals live. Without financial resources and with increasing overload, the care of thousands of dogs was seriously endangered.

The TAO Foundation reacted immediately and provided €5,000 at short notice to cover the most urgent rent arrears and relieve Mr. Termure so that he could continue his life-saving work for the animals.
