We recently received an urgent emergency call from the Prijatelji Animal Shelter in Čakovec, Northern Croatia.

The ongoing corona crisis and regional conflicts have led to a noticeable drop in donations for the animal shelter. The shelter is currently home to over 600 adult dogs and over 100 puppies. In addition, around 500 dogs in the Roma settlements are waiting to be taken in by the animal shelter.

As the TAO Foundation, we have already provided initial support. Nevertheless, the situation remains challenging. The shelter urgently needs financial help to ensure the essential care of the animals. Every donation helps to ensure food, medical care and nursing. At the same time, these lovable animals are looking for adoptive families who can offer them loving homes.
